Betametasone valerate
The Betesil plaster can be considered the point of union between the technologies currently in use in the pharmaceutical world for the production of medicated patches, i.e. Hydrogel and Drug in adhesive.
The production in fact follows in a first phase the typical modalities of the hydrogel plaster: production of a paste that is spread on the backing and coupled with the liner. The coating, with simultaneous coupling of the backing and liner, is done by rollers. From the distance of the rollers it is possible to determine the quantity of paste on the patch. Considering the quantity of coated paste, the coupled backing+paste+liner can be rewound in order to obtain a jumbo.
At this point the process follows the path of the drug in adhesive products, in fact the jumbo, after appropriate maturation, is cut into reels of appropriate band.
At this point, the reels can be sent to the primary packaging machines, where the latter are unwound, cut, thus obtaining the patch in the desired shape and then, this one, individually bagged.
